We are seeking creative and talented landscape architects to work on a full-time basis with experience in the design and delivery of landscape projects. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of sectors including public domain, education, commercial, residential, transport, regional and urban design projects.

THE ROLE
- Coordinating the collection of data (including the collation and delivery of technical building information from architects and other stakeholders), in order to deliver detailed design drawings and specifications for the landscape design.
- Preparing 3D models using BIM/CAD software (primarily Revit).
- Preparing accurate technical documentation for construction projects.
- Preparing drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals.
- Serving as an ongoing liaison with architects, designers, other stakeholders as required to help coordinate detailed design information.
- Investigating and offering technical advice on factors that affect building developments, including user needs, site and building surveys, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring designs for health and safety and contributing to risk assessments.
- Contributing to meetings and document preparation.
- Researching new design processes, building legislation and technology.
ABOUT YOU
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture / Architecture / drafting or a related field.
- 2-3 years relevant professional experience in architectural drafting (or comparable).
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience of working with Australian and/or South African building codes and Standards.
- Be able to work independently with a clear brief, or as part of the team supporting the Senior Designers & Project Leads on the end-to-end development and landscape design projects.
- Excellent communication, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills. Team player who is willing to collaborate, listen, learn and fit in with the culture.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite (Word & Excel) and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience in 3D rendering and modelling software (Sketchup, Lumion, Twinmotion) is highly desirable.
